Terms of service

1.The agreement

These terms are an agreement between you and Mediazealous ([legal entity name]) for using Mentioned First. If you use it for a company or for clients, you confirm you're allowed to agree on their behalf.

2.Early access

Mentioned First is in early access. The free scan works today; accounts and paid plans aren't open yet. Features, limits and prices may change, and some features described on the site aren't available yet. Numbers labeled as samples come from fictional businesses.

3.Your account

Keep your sign-in details secure and your account information accurate. You're responsible for activity under your account, and each login is for one person.

4.Plans and billing

• Paid plans are billed monthly in US dollars through [payment processor]. You'll see the price and what's included before you pay.
• You can cancel at any time. Your plan stays active until the end of the period you've paid for [confirm].

5.Usage limits

Each plan includes a number of AI answers. One answer is one question, asked on one engine, for one location, in one run. Failed or incomplete answers don't count against you. Free scans are limited to protect the service from abuse.

6.What results are, and aren't

Results describe the AI answers we measured, at the time they were measured, with the method shown. AI answers vary by time, location, account and device, and an API benchmark isn't identical to what every consumer sees.

Results and suggested actions are not a guarantee of recommendations, rankings, traffic or revenue.

7.Acceptable use

• Don't try to access other people's workspaces, reports or data.
• Don't use scans or reports to harass, mislead or spam anyone.
• Don't send automated outreach to businesses you scanned unless they asked for it.
• Don't resell access, except through the Agency plan.
• Don't overload, scrape or reverse engineer the service.

8.Agencies

On the Agency plan, you're responsible for your client relationships: who gets access, the branding you upload, and what you charge. Custom portal domains and sending domains must be ones you control and have verified. Required AI and data source attribution must stay visible.

9.Your content and data

You own the business information and content you add. You give us permission to use it to run the service for you. You can export your reports [subject to data provider terms].

10.Third-party services

Mentioned First measures answers from AI services and search pages run by other companies, and their products and terms are their own. Names like ChatGPT, Google AI Overviews, Google AI Mode, Gemini, Perplexity, Microsoft Copilot, Claude and Grok belong to their owners. Mentioned First isn't affiliated with or endorsed by them.

11.Disclaimers and liability

12.Ending the agreement

You can stop using the service and close your account at any time. We may suspend accounts that break these terms or put the service at risk, and we'll explain why where we can.

13.Changes to these terms

We'll update these terms as the product changes and tell account holders about significant changes before they take effect.
